The venue and date for the next Rally/AGM was discussed and it was decided to keep it, as usual in the Solent. The details will be posted when the venue is confirmed.
We discussed meeting for a drinks party at Henley again, as the last gathering on board Roly at the Trad Boat Rally was such a success, with 50 guests on deck! Again details to be published when confirmed.
Liz Poole, Editor of the ROC Newsletter, took over the role as Vice Commodore and was presented with a cap of office, which the last incumbent of the post, war correspondent Michael Nicholson, brought back from the 1st Golf War.
ROC members will find all the other subjects under discussion at the meeting, in the minutes, which, if they haven't received them already, they will soon.
We had a fun buffet lunch, with lots informal chitter chatter after the meeting, when we had the chance to meet our new member, Paul Kendall, who has just bought the 48ft Sea Dawn.
